PG DATA 2027

Mark your calendars for PG DATA 2027, happening June 11–12, 2027. This community-driven PostgreSQL and data conference will bring together database professionals, data engineers, developers, DBAs, architects, and open-source enthusiasts for two days of learning, networking, and practical insights.
 
 
 

Our mission

PG DATA 2027 brings two days of PostgreSQL programming to the Midwest DBA and software developer communities. We aim to offer an accessible and affordable in-person event where attendees can connect with peers, get hands-on training from industry-leading experts, and learn about everything Postgres, from deep dives into database internals to case studies, analyses of the latest features, and more.

Location details

UIC Student Center East Located at the heart of UIC’s East Campus, Student Center East offers a convenient and flexible conference setting in Chicago. The Walter Netsch-designed facility sits along Halsted Street, just south of the Jane Addams Interchange, with views of the Chicago skyline and a variety of meeting rooms suitable for keynotes, breakout sessions, workshops, networking, and receptions.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization chartered in Illinois, the Prairie State, that serves the Midwestern United States. We host events and offer training, professional development, and networking opportunities for technical practitioners and researchers. We seek to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion through our work in the local technical community.

Policy Overview

Our PostgreSQL conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free, inclusive, and professional experience for everyone, regardless of background, identity, or appearance.

Expected Behavior

  • Be respectful, collaborative, and mindful of others' boundaries.
  • Maintain a professional environment across all talks, chat spaces, and social events.

Unacceptable Behavior

We do not tolerate harassment in any form. This includes offensive verbal comments, sexual imagery in presentations, intimidation, stalking, disruptive behavior, and unwelcome physical or sexual attention.

Consequences

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior must comply immediately. Organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action, including a formal warning or expulsion from the conference without a refund.
